How To Disable Cloudflare from your domain is the search term I used in the Google search bar to learn the ways of removing or deleting cloudflare.

Most of the results came from solutions posted in the knowledge base of most webhosting company.

Their tutorial simply says the following:

Hostgator

1. Log into cPanel.

2. For Shared customers, click on the CloudFlare icon in the Software/Services section. For Reseller customers, the icon can be found in the Advanced section.

3. Click Edit next to the domain on which CloudFlare is enabled.

4. Next to the sub domain for which you'd like CloudFlare disabled, click the orange cloud. When the cloud turns gray, CloudFlare has been disabled.

Bluehost

1. Click the CloudFlare icon, located in the Domains section of your control panel.

2. Scroll to the bottom of the page.

3. Choose your domain name from the drop down menu.

4. Click the Disable button to disable CloudFlare.

Almost all web hosting companies says the same thing. But that is the remedy if you are using cloudflare in a web hosing companies which partnered with cloudflare and the cloudflare feature is integrated in the cpanel.

I used the free blogging platform blogger. I just want to experience and see for my self if my site will become really fast if I use a CDN like cloudflare.

You can use cloudflare in a blogger blog provided it is connected to a domain name you purchased elsewhere and not using the default blogspot domain.

I registered with cloudflare in their sign-up page of its website and not from the cpanel of a web hosting company.

When I registered for a cloudflare account, I was instructed to change the DNS of my website. I am using namecheap as my domain provider, so I went to Namecheap and change the setting of my domain name to use the nameserver of cloudflare.

The reason i want to disable cloudflare is because the sub domain of the domain name I registered with cloudflare no longer works.

Perhaps there might be other solutions out there I may not be aware of without disabling cloudflare but the point is, I want it disabled.

Cloudflares website suggest that users must temporarily deactivate CloudFlare first.

What I did was to first go to my blogger blog dashboard and remove the sub domain of my domain hosted on the free blogger blog.

So I am back with my former blogspot domain.

Then I went back to cloudflare website and log in.

Click the advanced link on the right and 2 options will pop out.

The options are either to pause or delete your domain associated with cloudflare.

Remove cloudflare.

I deleted my domain associated with Cloudflare. After that I went back to my domain registrar's website which is namecheap and brought back the way things are before.
